FAMOUS FAN: Questlove
Amir Thompson, aka Questlove, grew up in Philadelphia, and the city has stayed central to his identity even as his career has gone global. He's a visible, dedicated Phillies fan, one more thread tying him back to Philly. He’s in the stands the way he’s in the studio: all in.
NEW DESIGNS FOR 2026
This year features a new face across all parallels. The new face, pictured on the Base parallel (left) is unofficially called "I Got This". The "Victory" parallel (right) has been redesigned because it's future is so bright it needs shades.

ghosts tell stories
Our hero calls his shot. Not with words. Not with a gesture. He calls it with the simplest change of expression. One raised eyebrow.
At 100 mph, a fastball will travel 60 feet in .41 seconds. But .41 seconds is all the time you need to raise an eyebrow.
It’s already over and it hasn’t even begun. The angle of impact. The moment of truth. His face says it louder than any spoken words:
“I got this”

Frequently Asked Questions
SEE MOREA Blind Dutch Auction is the most fair and easy way to buy true collectibles like ghosts. Here’s how it works:
For buyers, it's dead simple: just place a bid for the amount you’re willing to pay. That's it.
At the end of the auction, we select the winners. For this particular drop, there are 300 ghosts for sale, so the 300 highest bids will win a ghost.
Here’s where it’s gets cool. In a normal auction, winners are charged the amount that they bid. But in a Blind Dutch Auction, all winners are charged the same Clearing Price. The Clearing Price is defined as the lowest winning bid. So in this auction, all winners will be charged the amount of the 300th highest bid - even if their original bid was much higher!
That means almost every winner will end up paying LESS than what they originally bid, and no one will end up paying more. The bidders who don’t win won’t be charged a cent, and they can try again next time (or try their luck on the secondary market).
That’s how a Blind Dutch Auction works. And yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds.
If you want to learn more, check out these explainers from StockX and zerocool. We're not personally familiar with these companies but they seem pretty legit.
The short answer is: just bid the most you’re willing to pay.
In a Blind Dutch Auction, you can’t see what other people are bidding. So there’s no need to spend time and energy trying to outbid people. The auction is ""blind"".
However, you DO have visibility into the overall balance of supply and demand. Pay attention to the total number of live bids (which will change in real-time as the auction proceeds). And compare that to the total number of ghosts being sold. That will provide some insight into whether your bid is likely to be a winner.
Finally, you might want to consider some comps. Check the prices of previous ghostwrite releases. Check the prices of ghosts on StockX. Or consider the retail and resale prices of other limited-edition collectibles (e.g. Bearbrick or Kaws) and let that inform your bid.
But at the end of the day, don’t overthink it: just bid the most you’re willing to pay. In a Blind Dutch Auction, you'll usually pay less than your bid. You'll never pay more.
The ghostwrite x MLB™ ""2026 Season"" ghost has a total population of 2,326. In other words, only 2,326 of these ghosts exist in the world.
Of that number, 300 cases are available for sale at auction. The remaining 2,026 ghosts have been seeded, gifted to team members, or reserved for our archive.
ghostwrite will never re-release this design or have another auction where this design is sold to the public.
It depends. Each auction is different. The number of bids per customer varies depending on the total population and quantity for auction.
For auctions that support multiple bids, you can place bids at different price points. If all your bids are among the winners, you'll win a ghost for each winning bid - and you'll pay the same Clearing Price for all of them.
A “Parallel” ghost is an extra-rare figure, distinguished by its unique design. If you’re familiar with trading card parallels, it’s the exact same concept.
In a ghostwrite blind box collection, most of the players you pull from a box will be “base designs”: these are the most populous designs, and make up the vast majority of the collection.
But if you’re lucky, you might also pull a rare Parallel. For example, if you pull a ghost with a gold crown, that’s the Gold /10 Parallel. Only 10 ghosts with that design exist in the world.
Different Parallel designs are associated with different levels of rarity. Thus, the gold crown parallels are limited to /10, while the chrome crown parallels are limited to /5.
