The ghostwrite Story
We started working on ghostwrite in 2022. The first year was mostly spent designing the figure. For a ‘blank canvas’ collectible, the shape is the brand. We worked with dozens of designers and artists and cycled through countless iterations to arrive at what you see today. A kid with a crown: a ghost.

ghosts tell stories. The very ethos of ghostwrite is that these are collectibles that tell others’ stories. A ghost has no face, no gender. It’s not a character, it’s a canvas. A platform for storytelling.

ghosts are Uncommon. Yes, they are limited, exclusive and rare (buzzwords that have lost all meaning) but much more than that, they are true collectibles.

ghosts are designed to be easily graded, easily authenticated, and easily resold. In short, everything we’ve learned from sneakers and trading cards and collectibles, has been applied to ensure the long-term value and cultural relevancy of ghosts.

A lot has transpired to get ghostwrite to be what you see today. And we want to use this space to share some of the stories behind the story.

This is the ghostwrite theme song.

Yes, we have a theme song. Don't you?

Wait, you're telling me that you DON'T have a theme song for your blank canvas, collectible toy brand?

That's weird, because we definitely do have one.
